This is a project run by a military man to bring sewing (and knitting and other) supplies to women in Iraq that cannot get supplies do to all the troubles going on. The current iteration is targeting widows. Leave a comment on his page and he will send you the address to mail your package to and the details for that package.

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. You know, I've actually been changing my mind on crazy quilts since I posted about them. I've since seen several that are really quite beautiful, and the technique used to make them is kind of neat (now that I know more about it). I also like the idea of using up even tiny bits of scraps. Guess I really was missing something!
